DESCRIPTION:KHEA Capacity Building Workshop & Phase III Launch\n\n \nWe are pleased to announce that the KHEA Capacity Building Workshop is currently taking place in Nairobi\, bringing together KHEA partners from Uganda\, Kenya\, Rwanda\, Tanzania\, and Madagascar for two impactful days—December 1st and 2nd\, 2025.\nThis week also marks a significant milestone with the official launch of KHEA Phase III\, scheduled for Tuesday\, December 2nd.\nDuring the workshop\, participants will explore community-based agroecological practices\, including organic mushroom production—an inspiring example of how sustainable agriculture is transforming livelihoods across the region.\nOverall Objective:\n\nTo strengthen regional collaboration\, facilitate knowledge exchange\, and build technical capacity to scale organic agriculture and agroecology across Eastern Africa.\n\nExpected Outcomes:\n\nEnhanced partner capacity to generate and apply agroecological knowledge\nImproved coordination and synergy across KHEA country networks\nDevelopment of concrete action plans to promote organic and climate-resilient farming practices under Phase III\n\nJoin us as we work together to advance sustainable agriculture and foster resilient farming communities across Eastern Africa.\n\n\nFor more information contact: Magino Pamella – Communications Officer- KCOA-KHEA  via email: pmagino@biovisionafrica.org
